An Evening with Paul Ainsworth!

Wow!! What a night! Thank you so much to everyone who came and supported our Charity Event ‘ An Evening with Paul Ainsworth’ a few weeks ago. Thanks also to our incredible team who were absolutely amazing, thanks too to our fabulous suppliers, many of whom donated their stunning produce for the evening.

We raised a phenomenal £2,810.00 for ‘Friends of the Christmas Festival’ which allocates the funds to local charities and community groups. Thanks to organiser Tina Evans!

The food was absolutely exceptional, we had much praise, even from the man himself! Paul thanked the Pickwick Team on social media for a fantastic event. The ever-brilliant Daphne Skinnard of BBC Radio Cornwall lead a beautiful conversation with the utterly lovely Paul as he recounted his rise to fame and the relentless hard work, dedication and vision its taken to get to this point in his illustrious career. He really is such a humble and likeable man; no wonder his fellow Chefs voted him ‘Chef’s Chef’ in the recent AA Awards (The gong every Chef wants displayed on their mantlepiece!), Well done Paul!

After the astounding success of our previous event ‘An Evening with Fern Britton’, we knew expectations would be high but the Team delivered on every front and the feedback was literally mind-blowing.

So, thank you to Paul Ainsworth, Daphne Skinnard, Tina Evans, The Pickwick Team and to Eddie & Jenny for their generosity in hosting.
